Digital marketing consulting: the strategy and the team that runs it
We decide where to compete, with what message, on which channels, and with what budget. And then we stay: running the plan or directing whoever runs it, with a review of results every quarter.
A strategy that never gets executed is worth nothing
The usual arc is familiar: a consultancy hands over a long, well-argued document, the company reads it, approves it, and three months later it's still in the same folder. No one turned it into concrete work, and no one was accountable for making it happen.
- A consultancy that analyzes and hands over a document
- Agencies that read that document their own way
- No one accountable for the combined result
- An annual plan that gets reviewed when it's time to renew it
- The plan is written knowing who will execute it
- We handle the execution ourselves or we direct it
- One point of contact accountable for the numbers
- A review every three months with the data on the table
From diagnosis to roadmap
For companies that need someone making the calls, not one more vendor
Plenty of companies invest in marketing without anyone inside who can tell whether it's working. They hire one agency for social, another for ads, someone for the website, and there's no one figure bringing order or accountable for the whole.
Outsourced marketing direction fills that gap without a full-time hire: we set priorities, decide the budget split, review the vendors, and present the numbers to your board.
| The usual situation | With outsourced direction |
|---|---|
| Each vendor reports what makes it look good | A single report with the full picture |
| The budget is split by inertia | It's reallocated each quarter based on results |
| Decisions wait until management has time | Someone with judgment is deciding every week |
| No one is accountable for the overall result | One point of contact accountable for the numbers |
Quarters, not annual plans
A twelve-month plan arrives out of date before it's executed: advertising costs shift, new competitors appear, and your own capabilities aren't what they were in January. Three months is long enough for a channel to prove something and short enough to correct course before you've burned the year's budget.
Frequently asked questions about digital marketing consulting
What's the difference between a marketing consultancy and an agency?
A digital marketing consultancy analyzes the company's situation and defines what to do, in what order, and with what budget. An agency executes concrete work: campaigns, content, search rankings. The problem shows up when they're two separate shops, because the consultancy hands over a document and the agency reads it its own way. Here, strategy and execution are under one roof, so the plan is written knowing who will carry it out and how.
Do you hand me a marketing plan?
You get a document with the diagnosis, the priorities, and the budget split, but it isn't a locked annual plan. A twelve-month plan tends to go stale before it's executed: advertising costs shift, so do competitors and your own capabilities. We work in quarters, with three-month goals, a review of the data at the close, and budget reallocated for the next one.
What if I already have agencies or vendors working with me?
That's a common situation, and there's no need to break it up. In those cases we act as marketing direction: we set goals and priorities, review what each vendor delivers, ask for the metrics that are missing, and bring coherence across channels. If a vendor isn't performing, you'll see it in the numbers before we tell you.
Does this work if my company is small?
Yes, and it's often where it matters most. A small company can't afford to spend across five channels to see which one works, so getting the order right counts for more than it does at a big company. In these cases the consulting is usually short and very concrete: two or three well-made decisions and one channel executed properly.
How long does a digital marketing consulting engagement last?
The diagnosis and the strategy are settled in a few weeks, depending on the size of the company and the data available. From there you have two paths: you take the roadmap and execute it on your own, or we keep working alongside you by quarters, reviewing results and adjusting the plan at the close of each one.
Can you execute what you propose?
Yes, and that's the norm. We execute search rankings, paid advertising, email marketing, social media, and artificial-intelligence systems, so the roadmap turns into work in motion without changing who you talk to. We also handle just the strategy when you prefer to execute with your own team or your current vendors.
Start by knowing where you stand
We analyze your situation, your competition, and the real demand in your market. You leave with the two or three decisions that move your business most right now.
